Corey Lee’s short film,“In Translation”, will be featured in a special episode of Bravo!FACT Presents: After Dark on Monday 12 July at 10:30 pm ET/8:30 pm MT. Produced by Lee and Susan Bristow, the script was co-written by Lee and author John Gould and adapted from the story of the same name by Gould, from his 2003 Giller Prize short-listed kilter: 55 fictions. The film features the wonderful talents of Vincent Gale (“Everest”) and Montreal based, Simone Elise-Girard (“3 Needles”) as a couple who struggles to communicate their mutual desire for intimacy. The film has screened at a variety of festivals and won the Best Alberta Short Film Award at the 2008 Edmonton International Film Festival, as well as the Grand Prize at the 2009 MING Short Film Festival.
