Armour for a Boy at the 2010 Calgary International Film Fest

Armour for a Boy, enriquePoe Moving Pictures latest film, by Corey Lee and Micheal Welchman, will screen at the 2010 Calgary International Film Festival as a selection of the Alberta Spirit program.

Armour for a Boy is a manga inspired animated folktale which tells the story of a Ronin who goes to see his Sensei after many lonely years as a warrior. Returning the Samurai armour he was given many years before, the Ronin is blinded by his desire for retribution, until the Sensei’s final lesson presents the Ronin with the opportunity for the life he has longed for.

Armour for a Boy will screen along with nine other short films at Mavericks – Alberta Spirit in Calgary at the Globe Theatre at 617 – 8 Ave SW on Sunday October 3rd at 7:00pm.
