ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE — AWARD-WINNING DOCUMENTARY SHORT NOW STREAMING

(MAY 14TH, 2019): The award-winning documentary short All the World’s a Stage is now available for streaming on a variety of platforms including YouTube, Vimeo and Facebook. 

All the World’s a Stage showcases revolutionary theatre artists Joyce Doolittle, Grant Reddick and John Murrell. These trailblazers, who have laid the foundation for the renowned eclectic theatre scene that thrives in Alberta today, look back on how their experiences have shaped their lives.

The film premiered in May of 2018 at Edmonton’s Non-Fiction Film, Music and Art Festival, Northwestfest, followed by a screening at THIRD ACTion Film Festival in Calgary. The film went on to win the Rosie award for Best Non-Fiction Short at the 2018 Alberta Film & Television Awards and was also nominated in director and original music categories.

All the World’s a Stage was produced, directed and edited by Sandi Somers and Corey Lee and created through the Alberta Foundation for the Arts 25th Anniversary Commemorative Art Project.
